About LGE
Cicero Finance - About Liquidity Generation Event
Overview
Cicero LGE (Liquidity Generation Event) is an opportunity for you to earn rewards by participating in the early stages of the Cicero network. During the event, you can deposit your USDC into the protocol and receive Cicero Points in return. These points are the key to unlocking future incentives, and the earlier you start, the more you’ll benefit as the protocol grows.
The LGE consists of two phases:
Epoch I
Pre-launch liquidity campaign. Deposit USDC and earn Cicero Points over time.
Epoch II
Migrate your assets, continue earning Cicero Points and rewards from protocol transactions.
Your Cicero Points will help determine your share of the upcoming CICERO token distribution, allowing you to benefit from the protocol’s growth and the community-driven decision-making process.

Deposit
As a liquidity provider in the Cicero LGE, you can deposit USDC into one of the three pools:
-
Junior Tranche
-
Senior Tranche
-
Insurance
Once the deposit is confirmed, you will begin to earn Cicero Points in live in your dashboard interface. There is no minimal deposit amount and no lock period.
Withdraw
Liquidity providers are allowed to withdraw their assets at any time during the LGE campaign. It’s important to understand that withdrawing before the campaign ends will result in the loss of all accrued points.
Points calculation
Cicero Points are calculated based on a few key factors, with the main goal being to reward early and continuous participation. Points are earned on-chain and can’t be transferred to other wallet addresses. The overall rate of points distribution is determined by the pointSpeed set by Cicero’s governance. This rate governs how quickly points are distributed to liquidity providers. If certain liquidity targets are reached, or enough time has passed, pointSpeed will decrease. This means that as the protocol attracts more liquidity, the rate at which points are distributed may slow down, making early deposits even more valuable.
